Driven
by challenge and hard work, I better myself and my photography in no
part alone. I am constantly inspired and influenced by the talent and
support of those around me and survive only because of the love I receive
from my friends and family.
I am at awe with the world, and how it holds us in suspended terror;
I want to live it and I want to capture it.
I can remember being drawn to film from a very early age. My dad would take me to R rated movies. Sometimes they gave me such horrible nightmares I knew instantly that I had to be a part of it. After graduating high school in 1994, where I dabbled in stage directing, Shadow Theater, and crude animation, I went on to attend the University of Victoria. I majored in Art history and studied film at every opportunity. After completing my degree, I realized I was then ready to focus myself and apply the discipline required to pursue a career in film production.
I am currently studying cinematography at the Academy of Art College
in San Francisco.
