Auditioner #3 (Casting Director) |

Deirdre
McGruder
is not an actress, but she gleefully pretended to be one for this production.
The Alabama native is no stranger to performing, however; she was a debutante
queen, played clarinet in her high school and college marching bands,
and portrayed a dead person in a high school play, where she got so into
her character that she almost fell asleep onstage. Her words to live by
come courtesy of the movie "Steel Magnolias": "If you don't
have anything nice to say, come sit by me."
